I'm Nicola, the proud owner of The Dress Boutique and mother of two wonderful children. My journey into the world of evening wear began with a personal experience—the search for my daughter Rose's perfect prom dress.

What should have been a magical mother-daughter moment turned into a surprisingly challenging experience. Despite our excitement, we found ourselves underwhelmed by the selection, atmosphere, and service at the boutiques we visited. That pivotal moment sparked a realisation: our local area deserved better.

With a vision for creating the boutique experience I wished we'd had, I established The Dress Boutique—a warm, welcoming space where finding that perfect dress becomes the celebration it should be.

Today, I personally curate our collection from renowned UK designers including Gurbani London, Prom Frocks UK, Gino Cerruti, and Mascara London. Each piece is selected with an eye for quality, uniqueness, and that special quality that makes a dress unforgettable.

My boutique combines the elegance of high-end fashion with genuine, personalised service. Whether you're a prom-bound teenager like my daughter was or a woman seeking a show-stopping gown for a special occasion, I'm committed to providing the exceptional experience every dress journey deserves.

We have a small, friendly boutique housing hundreds of dresses. We love that we are able to provide a relaxed and customised appointment for our clients and want the whole experience to be fabulous!

Our quiet, out of town location takes away the stress of traffic and finding somewhere to park.

We work on a one to one basis as you deserve our undivided time and attention.
Sit back and relax with a drink of your choice for you and your guest (we would recommend the bubbly!) whilst we show you the dresses.
We want to provide you with the whole package; we can advise you on everything you need to make your day perfect.
We can recommend people to help you with all the finishing touches; such as talented seamstresses, someone to put you hair up beautifully, manicure your nails and even a chauffeur with gorgeous vintage cars.
